I think I have posted John's previous valentines day cards - here is the latest.
Made with fabric, threads, paper, paint and wire. I enjoyed stencilling hearts with acrylic on paper and cutting them out and using them for shadow quilting. The way they blended with the applique fabric background (from out of the remnants box) was either a fortunate accident or the result of being so involved with my work - I had learnt my lines as Sian would say.
Colours reflect the limestone used for armour of the Terracotta warriors I am involved with. Only with more red - for my valentine.
