Rebecca's Birthday card

I did send Dad a card, but forgot to photograph it. Difficult to do that now - since it is 6000 miles away.

But this is one I made especially for Rebecca.


The base is furnishing fabric with lots of cable stitch which is nearly all hidden, then more stitching and a gathered shear fabric was stitched down and then touched with the heat tool and then applique and more stitching.

Since making this I have continued to mess about with the new sewing machine it is an education - more later....
